International University of Biblical Studies (IUBS) – South Florida Division is an affiliate of International University of Biblical Studies – Parkersburg, West Virginia. Heading the organization as president, is Dr. Joe Nelson, who oversees several clusters of the college in the United States and the Caribbean. The South Florida Division of IUBS presently has two clusters, with main office at the Pentecostal Tabernacle (PenTab) campus and the other branch at Victory Tabernacle, Avon Park, FL.
Since its inception, IUBS – South Florida Division has sought to maintain and uphold the vision of Pentecostal Tabernacle of North Miami. The College embraces the fact that education is the medium to break down the wall of division that held back the revival that God would like to have in these last days. The program at IUBS is to educate christian students to make their lives unique. Students will acquire knowledge and the ability to rightly divide the word of truth and oneness in God. They will be equipped to serve in the local community and around the world. The IUBS is offering degree and non-degree courses in Biblical Studies. Plans are in place to offer Distance Learning to students that are unable to attend our campus.
As part of the Edification Department, it strongly purports to be instrumental in the primary visions and missions of Pentecostal Tabernacle International. Therefore, in order to realize the assembly’s main focuses, the university will direct its attention to providing and facilitating quality undergraduate and graduate programs of biblical studies. By equipping every ministerial student and church worker with the truth of God’s Word as well as practical training, they will quickly become active in the field of ministry, both here and abroad. The laboratory concept in our approach facilitates the biblical contextual learning and practices that will help every student discover the joy and value of reading, studying, meditating, and memorizing Scriptures. We find that motivated students apply the Christian education they acquire to their lifestyles. This format allows us to expand easily to learning forums, symposiums, and seminars. Rewarding them and celebrating their achievements encourage students. Social functions foster and strengthen camaraderie and unity among our student body.
IUBS welcomes everyone who is desirous of obtaining a degree, diploma or certificate in the areas of study provided by the college.
