The purposes of this ministry are:

• To minister to the needs of the seniors of Pentecostal Tabernacle by providing programs and activities that will assist in their spiritual and natural development while fulfilling The Purpose of Pentecostal Tabernacle

•  To honor the Lord with our talents by ministering under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost in songs, poems and every other area that God chooses

• To continually intercede for the upcoming generations so that they will be equipped to lead
  

The Seniors of Pentecostal Tabernacle live out Isaiah 40 verse 31, which states, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." KJV. According to Charles L. Morgan "retirement is redirection, a new beginning for the best 20 years of our life".

This vibrant group equip themselves spiritually, mentally and physically through regular Sunday service attendance and classes held throughout the week. Physical fitness sessions are held on Saturdays as a part of their development programs.

Their mission is leading by example, and showing others that there is much more to life in Christ, as they "Focus on Jesus", understanding that it is Him that we live.

The Seniors host regular meetings, and special training events like painting and floral arrangements classes, and also participate in picnics, and travel.
